Sat, May 18, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf In Fourth At Carleton Invite Posted: Friday, April 10, 2009 NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Following the first day of competition at the Carleton College Invitational at the Northfield Golf Club, the UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is currently in fourth place out of 11 teams. UW-Stevens Point leads the field with 326 strokes while Gustavus Adolphus sits in second with 333. Carleton College is in third with 344 strokes while the Blugolds totaled 345 today. Emily Swift (Fr.-Onalaska, Wis.) leds the Blugolds with a +9 score of 81, putting her in a three-way tie for seventh place. Sara Mattes (Fr.-La Crosse, Wis./Central), who is golfing as an individual this weekend, had 82 strokes today and is in 10th place. Torie Ives (Jr.-Osseo, Wis./Osseo-Fairchild) finished the first round of competition tied for 15th place with 86 strokes while Lauren Gault (Fr.-Shorewood, Wis.) and Katie Maurer (Forest Lake, Minn./Convent of the Visitation) are tied for 25th with 89 strokes.
