Mon, Jan 19, 2026 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Cross Country Honored With Academic Award Posted: Tuesday, April 7, 2009 NEW ORLEANS, La. - The UW-Eau Claire women's and men's cross country teams were recently honored by being named NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average. This season the Blugold women finished first at the NCAA Division IIII Regional meet and accumulated a 3.420 team GPA. The men held a 3.101 GPA as a team while they finished sixth at the NCAA Regional meet. This year a total of 156 women's and 103 men's Division III programs received the USTFCCCA's All-Academic Team honors. - KM - |
