Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Softball To Hold "Leave A Legacy Weekend" Posted: Tuesday, March 31, 2009 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire softball team will host its "Leave a Legacy Weekend" to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the program this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday the Blugolds will hold a tailgate party, open to the public, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Oak Pavilion in Carson Park. At 1 p.m. the Blugolds will face conference opponent UW-La Crosse for a doubleheader on Gelein Field. The Blugolds will wear pink uniforms Saturday as they have partnered with Charter Communications for a Breast Cancer Awareness day. Senior and parents day will also be celebrated Saturday. The Blugolds will then hold a gathering at the Quality Inn beginning at 6:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 7 p.m. Dinner and the program following it are open to alumnae and invited guests only. On Sunday at 2 p.m. the Blugolds will take on UW-Platteville in a doubleheader. There is still time to sign up to be part of the weekend's activities and join those who have already confirmed attendance.
