Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Fan Bus Cancelled For Women's Basketball Game Posted: Thursday, February 26, 2009 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The fans bus originally planned to travel to Whitewater today for the UW-Eau Claire women's basketball Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinal game against UW-Whitewater has been cancelled. A total of 40 fans were needed to register in order for the bus to travel, but by the deadline of 10 a.m. today, only 16 had expressed interest. The game will still go on as planned and tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the championship game Saturday. UW-Whitewater officials have announced ticket prices for the 7 p.m. semifinal contest. Adult tickets are $7 while seniors, students and youth tickets are $3. Fans may call ahead to purchase tickets (262-472-2222) or can buy tickets at the Williams Center ticket window beginning at 6 p.m. - KM - |
