Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Blugold Divers Host Invite Posted: Saturday, February 14, 2009 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's diving teams hosted a four-team diving invite today at the McPhee Physical Education Center. A total of 18 divers from UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh and Minnesota State University-Mankato competed at the invite. In the men's one-meter diver, Oshkosh's Philip Devine took first with a score of 450.85. Eau Claire's Bryan Dykstra (Sr.-Racine, Wis./Horlick) took second with 442.80 while Oshkosh's Jacob Chadderdon finished third with 434.05. The same three also took the top three spots in the three-meter diver. Chadderdon won the event with 508.95, Devine finished second with 499.25 and Dykstra took third with 495. On the women's side, only four divers from La Crosse participated in the three-meter dive. Rachel LaValley took first with 390.45, Shannon Doyle took second with 388.35, Samantha Koch was third with 365.50 and Kelly Schippers finished fourth with 299.55. In the one-meter event, Doyle finished first with 372.05 and LaValley finished second with 369.85. Mankato's Allison Warner took third with 364.55. For the Blugolds, Jaimee Hall (Fr.-Wausau, Wis./West) was the only participant. She took seventh place in the one-meter with 221.30. The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools will now get ready for the championships next week. Events start Thursday and run through Saturday in Brown Deer at Schroeder Center. - KM - |
