Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Wrestling To Host St. Cloud this Weekend Posted: Thursday, January 22, 2009 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - This Saturday the UW-Eau Claire wrestling team will host St. Cloud State University in a dual meet scheduled for 2 p.m. in the McPhee Physical Education Center. The Blugolds enter the contest with a 5-8 dual meet record this season while the Huskies are 2-3 in dual meets. Josh Holforty (Sr.-Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy), who is ranked fourth in the nation at 197 pounds, leads the Blugolds this year with a 20-4 overall record. Currently Holforty is on a 15-match winning streak, having not lost since December 4. Following this weekend's meet, Eau Claire will host two more meets and compete in three more on the road before the conference championship on February 22. The Blugolds' next home meet will be on February 6 when they host Itasca Community College and will follow that with the Blugold Invitational on February 7. - KM - |
