Ouimette Named WIAC Men's Hockey Player Of The Week

MADISON - UW-Eau Claire forward Rob Ouimette (Sr. -Iron Bridge, ONT/Leamington District) was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association (WIAC) Men's Hockey Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.
Ouimette led the Blugolds to an 8-2 victory over Bethel (Minn.) on November 5, while nearly helping UW-Eau Claire to a late come-from-behind victory in a 5-4 overtime loss to Hamline (Minn.) on November 6. Against Bethel, he assisted on the game-winner, which broke a 2-2 tie in the second period. He put the game away with two third period goals. Against Hamline, Ouimette assisted on a pair of goals in the third period that tied the score and he also recorded the team's first goal of the night.
