Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Arciszewski Recognized By D3hoops.com Posted: Wednesday, December 10, 2008 MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - UW-Eau Claire women's basketball player Heidi Arciszewski (Sr. -Thorp, Wis.) has been named to this week's D3hoops.com Team of the Week, Pat Coleman announced today. Arciszewski, who also earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors yesterday, scored 15 points and had a team-high eight rebounds as the Blugolds defeated NCAA Division II University of Minnesota Duluth last Wednesday. On Saturday the Blugolds kicked off conference play with a win over UW-Stout to remain undefeated (7-0) on the season. In that game, Arciszewski scored a career-high 31 points to lead all scorers and also led the team with seven rebounds. She went 16-for-16 from the free throw line, tying a school record for most free throws in a game and best free throw percentage. For the season she has only missed one free throw in 41 attempts. - KM - |
