Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Soccer To Host NCAA Regional Posted: Monday, November 10, 2008 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The UW-Eau Claire soccer team has earned an at-large bid to the 2008 NCAA Division III Championship and will host a four-team regional this weekend at the Bollinger Fields, NCAA officials announced today. The Blugolds welcome two-time defending national champion Wheaton College (18-3-1), Carroll University (13-5-2) and Carthage College (17-3-0) to town this weekend. On Friday in the first round the Blugolds will take on Carthage at 1:30 p.m. and Wheaton will face Carroll at 11 a.m. Saturday the winners will face in the second round at 1 p.m. Ticket prices will be $8 for adults, $6 seniors and $4 for youths. This is the fourth season in a row the Blugolds have made it to the postseason tournament and the third year in a row they are hosting. |
