Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Freiborg Earns Academic All-District Honors Posted: Thursday, November 6, 2008 DELAWARE, Ohio - UW-Eau Claire volleyball player Abby Freiborg (Sr. -Sacred Heart, Minn./Renville County West) has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 College Division Third Team, CoSIDA officials announced today. Freiborg, a communication sciences and disorders major with a 3.68 GPA, leads the Blugolds this season in kills per set with 2.75 and a total of 325. She is also second in the conference and leads the team with an average of 0.49 service aces per set and has a total of 58 this year. Last season, Freiborg earned first team All-Conference honors and was the team's Most Valuable Player. She also earned the Blugold Award last year and was the team's rookie of the year in 2005.
