Sat, May 18, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Basketball Receives National Ranking Posted: Wednesday, November 5, 2008 The UW-Eau Claire women's basketball team is ranked 22nd in this year's preseason USA Today/ESPN Top 25 coaches' poll, announced today. The Blugolds are already ranked 25th in another national poll, the D3hoops.com top 25 rankings, announced last week. In both the D3hoops.com and USA Today/ESPN poll, Whitewater is ranked first. The Blugolds are coming off a season where they finished with a record of 23-7 overall and were Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Co-Champions, tying UW-Whitewater with a 14-2 WIAC record. Eau Claire tips off its 2008-09 campaign with the Ripon College Tip-off Tournament November 21 and 22. - KM - |
