Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Schreiner Named WIAC Athlete Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, October 14, 2008 MADISON, Wis. - UW-Eau Claire football tight end Brett Schreiner (Jr. -Somerset, Wis.) has been recognized as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) athlete of the week for offense, conference spokesman Matt Stanek announced today. Schreiner led the Blugolds in receiving in a 35-21 triumph over UW-La Crosse Oct. 11. He pulled down 10 catches for a career-high 129 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown reception to put UW-Eau Claire up 13-0 in the first quarter. Schreiner also hauled in an 11-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. - KM - |
