Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Ready For Final Home Meets Of Fall Posted: Thursday, September 25, 2008 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - This weekend the UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team will make its final appearance at home for the fall, taking to the courts for three separate meets. The Blugolds will face conference rival Stevens Point on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and will follow that with meets Saturday against St. Scholastica at 11:30 a.m. and Bethel University at 3 p.m. All three meets will be played on the Ade Olson Outdoor Courts on UW-Eau Claire's upper campus. The Blugolds are currently 1-1 in conference meets after defeating Oshkosh 6-3 and falling to Whitewater 1-8 earlier this season. Conference frontrunner Stevens Point is undefeated (1-0) in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play and is 5-3 overall. St. Scholastica and Bethel are both playing their first contests of the season this weekend. - KM - |
