SUPERIOR, Wis. - The fourth-ranked UW-Eau Claire soccer team continued its unbeaten streak with a dominating 13-0 victory over Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent UW-Superior today.

The Blugolds have now beaten Superior seven times with double-digit goal totals. The last time the Blugolds scored in the double-digits against Superior was in 2001 when they also found the net 13 times. Eau Claire is now 17-0 all-time against the Yellowjackets.

The Blugolds spread the ball around well today with seven different players scoring goals. Alli Kishaba (Jr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) scored the eventual game-winner only 4:38 into the contest. She also picked up two assists in the game.

Amy Smith (Sr.-Bloomington, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) continued her dominance on the offensive end as she found the net four times today. She scored once in the first half and three times in the second and now has 13 goals this season. She is now tied for third in career goals for the Blugolds with 41 and is fifth in career points with 105. Smith also had one assist today.

Rachel Nerison (Fr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) also contributed two goals and two assists, while Jamie Schiesel (So.-Plymouth, Minn./Armstrong) had two goals of her own and one assist. Lisa Marco (Fr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) also found the net twice, scoring once in each half.

Sara Aschenbrener (Jr.-Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake) and Jessica Millard (Sr.-Madison, Wis./La Follette) each scored one goal today as well. Ali Mater (So.-Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield East) had two assists for the Blugolds, while Liz Kooistra (Sr.-Lakeville, Minn.), Gina Christenbury (So.-Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Kenosha Tremper), Allison Muer (Sr.-Minneapolis, Minn./South) and Carolyn Andresen (Fr.-Ironwood, Mich./Luther L. Wright) each picked up one.

Allie Rivard (Sr.-Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) started the game in goal and played 72 minutes. She stopped three shots before being relieved by Emily Kidd (Fr.-St. Paul, Minn./Como Park), who played the final 18 minutes of the contest.

The Blugolds outshot the Yellowjackets 30-3, 23 of which were on-goal. Eau Claire also had three corner kicks to Superior's one.

The Blugolds improve to 7-0-2 on the season with a conference record of 2-0-0 while Superior dropped to 2-6-1 overall and 0-2-0 in the WIAC.

Eau Claire will be back on the road this weekend for two more games. The Blugolds face UW-La Crosse on Saturday and will complete the trip in Iowa for a game against Loras College on Sunday. Both games will begin at 2 p.m.
