Fri, May 24, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf To Host Invite this Weekend Posted: Friday, September 19, 2008 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team will begin its two-day stint at the Frank Wigglesworth Blugold Collegiate Invite this Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Eau Claire Country Club and continue Monday at 8:30 a.m. This event will follow the Blugolds taking seventh place of 19 teams at last week's St. John's Fall Invitational in Collegeville, Minn. UW-Eau Claire placed first in last fall's Frank Wigglesworth Invite, beating out Gustavus Adolphus and St. John's University. For the season, Ben Ziemann (Jr.-Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) leads the team with 75 strokes with Loren Churness (So.-Durand, Wis.) following closely with 78. After this weekend's contest, the Blugolds will prepare for the Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic, hosted in St. Peter, Minn. - KS - |
