Schneider Named WIAC Special Teams Player Of The Week

MADISON - UW-Eau Claire football kicker Andy Schneider (Jr. -Green Bay/Ashwaubenon) was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek.
Schneider drilled three field goals in three attempts and was also three-of-three on extra-point attempts in UW-Eau Claire's 30-14 win over Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.). He was responsible for 12 of UW-Eau Claire's points in the contest. Schneider opened the scoring with a 23-yard field goal in the first quarter and made his second attempt, a 25-yarder, in the third quarter. He hit his third try, a 39-yarder, early in the fourth quarter to give UW-Eau Claire a 23-14 lead.
