Women's Basketball Seventh In Division III Attendance

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Out of 411 women's basketball teams in NCAA Division III, the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds had the seventh highest home attendance average for the 2007-08 season, the NCAA released in a recent report.
The Blugolds had a total attendance of 11,326 in 14 games, for an average attendance of 809 per game. Eau Claire led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference last season in attendance, and no other WIAC institution reached a home attendance figure of more than 9,000. UW-Stout also appeared on the NCAA's list with the 10th highest average home attendance (679 per game) and a total home attendance of 8,837.
