Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Volleyball Receives Team Academic Award Posted: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 LEXINGTON, Ky. - The UW-Eau Claire volleyball team has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with the association's Team Academic Award, AVCA officials recently announced. This year, 353 high school and college teams from around the nation received the award. UW-Eau Claire, which had a cumulative team grade point average of 3.30, was one of 62 NCAA Division III teams to receive the honor. This is the 10th time in the award's 16-year history the Blugolds achieved the honor. The only other WIAC institution that received the award this season was UW-La Crosse. - KM - |
