Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Basketball Receives Team Academic Honor Posted: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 ATLANTA, Ga. - The UW-Eau Claire women's basketball team has been named to the 2007-08 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, WBCA officials recently announced. The Blugolds took 12th overall for maintaining a team grade point average of 3.436 during the course of the basketball season. This is the second time the Blugolds have been named to the top 25 honor roll in the award's 11-year history. The last time Eau Claire appeared on the list was for the 2000-01 season, which was head coach Tonja Englund's first season with the team. That season the Blugolds held a 3.320 GPA and were ranked 21st overall. - KM - |
