OSHKOSH, Wis. - Al Oleson (Sr. -Wausau, Wis./West) and Bridget Wolfe (Sr. -Arcadia, Wis.) each earned All-American honors on day two of the 2008 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship at J.J. Keller Field in Oshkosh.

In the hammer throw, Oleson finished in fourth place overall with a toss of 181-8. The University of St. Thomas' Mark O?Connell took top honors in the event with a throw of 191-0.

Wolfe finished up the two-day heptathlon today, taking eighth with 4,525 total points. Her best finishes were achieved on the first day of the event, but she picked up a fifth place finish in the long jump (17-3 ?), a ninth in the 800-meter run (2:31.50) and a 14th in the javelin throw (86-7) today. Messiah College's Amy Reed won the heptathlon with 5,111 points.

Both Liz Faller (Sr.-Marinette, Wis.) and Liz Kooistra (Jr.-Lakeville, Minn.) advanced to the finals in their events. Faller won her 100-meter hurdles heat with a time of 14.14, the third best of the day, to advance. Kooistra completed the 400-meter dash trials with a time of 56.63, second in her heat, to move on.

Hannah Humbach (So.-Madison, Wis./Abundant Life) competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and finished with a time of 10:58.67 for a 13th place spot. Caitlin Bradley of Dickinson College won the event with a time of 10:22.60.

Alicia Schuelke (Jr.-Gilman, Wis.) and Wolfe participated in the high jump but neither placed as they finished with no height.

The championships will wrap up Saturday in Oshkosh. The first event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
