Wed, Mar 19, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Cross Country Participates In Tri-Meet Posted: Saturday, October 23, 2004 LAKE WISSOTA - The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team battled both UW-Stout and UW-La Crosse Friday afternoon at the Lake Wissota Tri-Meet. No team scores were kept in the event. Eau Claire finished with three runners in the top 10, with Jane Ovanin (Jr.-Amherst) finishing in second place with a time of 19:22. Christina Locke (So.-Racine/Horlick) was second on the Blugold team and fifth overall in a time of 19:36 while Rachel Anderson (Jr.-St. Paul, MN/Harding) took ninth place with a time of 19:52. Kersten Wilson of UW-Stout was the top overall finisher with a time of 19:16 on the course. The Blue Devils' Stephanie Nichols took third in a time of 19:24. The women will be back in action next Saturday when they travel to River Falls for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
