Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Cross Country Battles Stout Posted: Saturday, October 23, 2004 LAKE WISSOTA - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team was in action Friday afternoon, when took part in a non-scored dual meet against UW-Stout. The Blugolds took seven of the top 10 places, including the first three. Adam Condit (Sr.-La Crosse/Central) was the top runner on the day, finishing the course in a time of 15:45. Ethan Kreul (Jr.-Poynette) and Ben Schmiege (Sr.-Madison/Lakeside Lutheran) finished second and third with times of 15:47 and 15:59 respectively. The next Blugold finisher was Ted Lillie (So.-North St. Paul, MN), who took sixth place in a time of 16:18. Teammate Adam Wolfe (Fr.-Marshfield) finished just one second back in seventh place while Micah Hernandez (Sr.-Milwaukee/Wisconsin Lutheran) finished in eighth with a time of 16:20. Adam Zamzow (Fr.-Green Bay/Preble) rounded out the top 10 with a time of 16:24. The men will be back in action next Saturday, when they head to River Falls for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
