Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Swimming & Diving Takes Second At Midwest Coed Relays Posted: Saturday, October 16, 2004 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire swimming and diving teams finished second at the Midwest Coed Relays held here today at the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center. The Blugolds placed in the top three in 11 of 12 events finishing second in five events. Eau Claire also took first in both diving events. The relay team of Scott Heatwole (Sr.-Port Washington) and Sarah Myers (So.-Eau Claire/North) finished first on the 3-meter board with a score of 205.75. The team of Bryan Dykstra (Fr.-Racine/Horlick) and Katie Anderson (So.-Eveleth, MN) took first on the 1-meter board with a score of 190.05. Sarah Myers (So.-Eau Claire/North) finished first in the 3-meter dive with a score of 205.75 while Katie Anderson (So.-Eveleth, MN) took first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 190.05. Eau Claire took second in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle, 400-yard medley, and 400-yard individual medley relays. St. Cloud State finished first overall with 80 points followed by Eau Claire with 60. St. Cloud State finished first in every non-diving event. The Blugolds will be in action next when they host UW-Stevens Point Friday, October 29. The dual meet is set to begin at 5 p.m. - JL - |
