Sun, May 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Golf Ties For Tenth At Gordin Collegiate Posted: Monday, October 11, 2004 MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team tied for tenth place with a 609 at the two-day Gordin Collegiate concluded here today. Derek Pirkl (Jr.-Stoughton) was the top Blugold shooting a 4-over 148 for the tournament. Pirkl followed yesterday's even-par 72 with a 76 today. Tyler Leis (So.-Reedsburg) shot his best two rounds of the year at this tournament. Leis followed his 74 yesterday with a 75 today to finish at 149. Mike Greer (So.-White Bear Lake, MN) finished up the tournament at 155 following today's 155. Mason Milner (Fr.-Onalaska) finished the tournament with a 157 while Grant Lissick (Jr.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake) finished up at 161. Guilford College finished first as a team shooting a 586 for the tournament with the University of Redlands and Methodist College each shooting a 588 to tie for second. The Blugolds finished the fall season with a 34-22-1 record.
