Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Aces Pointers Posted: Monday, October 4, 2004 STEVENS POINT - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team ended a two-meet losing streak by defeating Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent UW-Stevens Point 8-1 here today. Katie Kuzma (Jr.-Buffalo, MN) improved to 7-5 on the year with a 6-0, 6-1 win at one singles. Sarah Riordan (Fr.-Appleton/North) moved to 4-5 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at two singles. Liz Deprey (Fr.-Green Bay/Notre Dame) won her first match as a Blugold with an impressive 6-0, 6-1 victory at six singles. Kuzma and Laura Geissler (So.-Coon Rapids, MN) ended a three-match losing streak with an 8-3 win at one doubles. Riordan and Molly Hunt (So.-Owatonna, MN) improved to 2-0 as a tandem with an 8-4 win at two doubles. The Blugolds will be in action next when they host UW-Oshkosh Saturday.
