Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Falls To La Crosse Posted: Friday, October 1, 2004 LA CROSSE - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team fell to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe UW-La Crosse 6-3 here today at Mitchell Fieldhouse. Lindsey Lee (Sr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) defeated Louie Dubinski 6-2, 6-0 at four singles while Molly Hunt (So.-Owatonna, MN) needed three sets to win 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 at five singles. Hunt and Sarah Riordan (Fr.-Appleton/North) earned the only win in doubles action defeating the La Crosse tandem of Julie Tellefsen and Dubinski 8-6. The loss drops Eau Claire's record to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the WIAC. The Blugolds will be in action when they host UW-Stevens Point Monday. The dual meet is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Simpson Outdoor Complex. - JL - |
