The event was held today at Les Bolstad Golf Course on the University of Minnesota campus. Leading the way was Washington University (Mo.) with 89 points and all of their top five runners in the top 25. UW- River Falls' Becca Jordahl won the event with a time of 22:01. UW-Platteville came in second with 117 points. The Blugolds' top runner was Beth Lutz (Jr.-Eau Claire, WI/Memorial). Lutz ran a time of 23:03 and finished in ninth place overall. Mary Palmer (Jr.-Anoka, MN) came in second for the Blugolds. Palmer finished in 14th place overall and ran a 23:19. The Blugolds' third runner was Molly Warner (Sr.-Mosinee, WI). Warner ran a 23:30 and finished in 18th place overall. Right behind Warner was Hannah Humbach (So.-Madison, WI/Abundant Life Christian). Humbach came in fourth for the Blugolds with a time of 23:02 and 32nd place overall. Jamie Arentz (Jr/So-Cashton, WI) finished fifth for the Blugolds. Arentz ran a 24:25 and finished in 55th place overall. Next up for the Blugolds is the Old English Invite at Beloit College. The Old English Invite is on Saturday, October 6, 2007 and starts at 11 am. -SB- |
