Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf Third At Whitewater Invite Posted: Saturday, September 25, 2004 AVALON - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team shot a combined 330 at the UW-Whitewater Invitational to finish the first day in third place here today at Prairie Woods Golf Course. Maggie Loney (Jr.-River Falls) was the top Blugold golfer shooting an 80 to finish the day alone in sixth. Jesse Thompson (So.-Stevens Point/SPASH) shot an 82 to finish the day in eighth. Meghan Sobotta (Fr.-Arcadia) is tied for ninth with an 83 while Kelly Gerzsenyi (So.-Rochester, MN/Mayo) is tied for 14th with an 85. Andrea Kloppman (Sr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) is tied for 41st with a 93 and Mandy Madson (Fr.-Ashwaubenon) shot a 105 to tie for 77th. Illinois Wesleyan is in first with a 322 with UW-Oshkosh in second with a 326. Oshkosh's Jennifer Young is in first individually with a 76. The invite will wrap up tomorrow with tee times starting at 8 a.m.
