Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Competes At Ita Regionals Posted: Friday, September 24, 2004 DECORAH, Iowa - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team lost their opening round matches but advanced two in the consolation bracket here today at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals held on the Luther College campus. Katie Kuzma (Jr.-Buffalo, MN) lost her first round match but bounced back to win in the consolation bracket. Kuzma defeated Luther's Kirsten Madsen 7-5, 6-3 to advance. Kristie Carlson (Fr.-Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View) rebounded from her opening round loss to win in the consolation bracket. Carlson defeated St. Olaf's Sarah Pray 6-3. 6-0 to advance. Kuzma and Laura Geissler (So.-Coon Rapids, MN) weren't able to play their opening round match in doubles due to lighting. The ITA will resume tomorrow at 9 a.m.
