Sun, May 26, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Takes Down La Crosse Posted: Friday, April 13, 2007 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team opened up its weekend of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) contests with a 6-3 victory over UW-La Crosse. The team runs its streak to four dual meet wins in a row, a season-high. The team is 12-7 now.
Eisele won 6-1, 6-4 in No. 1 singles while Peterson took the No. 5 sets 7-6, 6-2. Loprinzi took the No. 6 matchup 7-5, 6-3. In the other contest, UW-Whitewater beat UW-Oshkosh by a 7-2 margin. Eau Claire finishes up its season tomorrow with a match at 9 a.m. versus Oshkosh and another at 1 p.m. versus Whitewater. Eau Claire 6, La Crosse 3 Singles Doubles |

Tim Eisele (Jr.-Apple Valley, MN) and Steve Lantz (So.-Rochester, MN/Century) squeaked out an 8-6 score in No. 1 doubles. Phil Loprinzi (Fr.-Rochester, MN/Mayo) and Aaron Nordenskjold (Sr.-Red Wing, MN) took an 8-5 win in No. 2 doubles. Jeff Peterson (Sr.-Edina, MN) and Erik Brandner (Jr.-Eau Claire/Memorial) came away with an 8-4 triumph.
