Tue, Jun 18, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Swimming, Diving Lessons Offered By Blugold Teams Posted: Friday, March 2, 2007 The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be offering lessons for swimmers and divers of all ages and abilities this spring. Several sessions are planned with twice a week lessons for three weeks. Lessons are 50 minutes (30-40 minutes for younger children). There are Monday-Wednesday swim sessions scheduled March 26-April 11 and also April 16-May 2. There are Tuesday-Thursday swim sessions scheduled March 27-April 12 and April 17-May 3. The diving will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays between March 27-April 12 and also April 17-May 3. There are six levels of swimming from individuals with little or no experience to the competitive skills level. There will be both beginner and advanced levels for diving. The swim lessons are scheduled 4-4:50 and 5-5:50 p.m. for the Tuesday-Thursday sessions and 6-6:50 and 7-7:50 p.m. for the Monday-Wednesday sessions in the McPhee Phy Ed Center pool on the university's upper campus. The cost is $35 per person. The diving is scheduled either 5:50-6:30 (beginners) or 6:30-7:50 (advanced) and the cost is $30. The registration deadline for the first session is March 16 and the deadline for the second session is April 2. Registration can be done by calling (715) 836-2546 or by e-mailing normant@uwec.edu.
