Thu, Jun 20, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Metje Named WIAC Men's Swimmer Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 MADISON - UW-Eau Claire men's swimmer Kris Metje (Fr. -Cape Girardeau, MO/Central) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek. Metje was the only individual winner for the Blugolds in a dual meet against UW-La Crosse on Dec. 9. He won the 500-yard freestyle (4:57.95) and 1,000-yard freestyle (10:20.00) to achieve the fastest times on the squad in those events this season. UW-La Crosse defeated UW-Eau Claire 152-90. |
