Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Narrowly Defeated By Wooster Posted: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 HILTON HEAD, SC - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team lost a tightly contested match to the College of Wooster (OH) 4-3. In singles play Jake Znidarsich (So.-La Crosse/Central) won his match in straight sets 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Steve Lantz (Fr.-Rochester, MN/Century) won his first single match of the week defeating Tim Wyatt 6-0, 6-3. Two of the four Blugold singles setbacks came in three sets with the final set score being 7-6. The Blugolds won two of three doubles matches. At No. 2 doubles the team of Znidarsich and Aaron Nordenskjold (Jr.-Red Wing, MN) defeated Will Morrison and Dave Albrechta 8-6. C.J. Rose (So.-Apple Valley, MN) and Jeff Peterson (Jr.-Edina, MN) won their match at No. 3 doubles 8-6. The Blugolds will continue their spring break trip with matches schedule against St. Lawrence (NY) and Albright (PA) tomorrow.
