Sat, May 25, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Begins Spring With Loss To St. Scholastica Posted: Saturday, February 25, 2006 DULUTH, MN - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team began its spring season today with a 7-2 loss to St. Scholastica at the Duluth Indoor. The only two winners for the Blugolds were Liz Deprey (So.-Green Bay/Notre Dame) at No.4 singles and Molly Hunt (Jr.-Owatonna, MN) at No.5 singles. Deprey won her 6-3, 6-4, while Hunt won her match 6-1, 6-4. Three Blugold singles matches went to three sets all resulting in Blugold losses. Sarah Riordan (So.-Appleton, WI/North) lost 3-6, 7-5, 10-8 at No.2 singles. Kristie Carlson (So.-Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View) at No.3 singles and Laura Geissler (Jr.-Coon Rapids, MN) at No.6 singles also lost in close three-set matches The Blugolds will face Winona State later on today.
