Wed, Jun 19, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Tennis Win Streak Snapped With Loss To Luther Posted: Saturday, February 18, 2006 DECORAH, IA - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team had its four meet win streak snapped this afternoon as it lost to Luther College 5-2 in the team's last dual meet at the Luther Invitational. The loss drops the Blugolds to 6-2 overall. Luther improves to 5-4 overall with the win. The Blugolds had two winners in the singles action as No.1 singles player Tim Eisele (So.-Apple Valley, MN) won yet again coming from behind to defeat his opponent 0-6, 7-5, 10-7. The other singles player to win was Steve Lantz (Fr.-Rochester, MN/Century) at No.4 singles as he defeated his opponent 6-4, 7-6(10-8). This was his fifth win in a row. The only doubles team to win was the No.2 doubles team of Aaron Nordenskjold (Jr.-Red Wing, MN) and Jake Znidarsich (So.-La Crosse, WI/Central) who defeated their opponents 8-5.
