Tue, May 21, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Gymnastics To Host Final Home Meet Of The Season Friday Posted: Wednesday, February 8, 2006 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team will host its final home meet of the season, as it will face UW-Oshkosh in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual meet on Friday night. The Blugolds have an overall record 4-6 this season and are 1-1 in WIAC dual meets. The Titans are 2-3 in dual meets overall this season. The Blugolds are coming off a second place finish in the Gershon/McLellan Invitational held at UW-La Crosse last Friday. Lynn Morris (Sr.-Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) finished first in the all-around for the third time this season. Theresa Lynch (So.-Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear) also had a season-high score in the all-around with a score of 35.375 in the invite. The Titans are coming off their highest team score of the season in a victory over UW-Whitewater on Monday. The Titans had team-bests in the balance beam, floor exercise, and uneven parallel bars. All of the action gets underway at 7 p.m. Friday night in the McPhee Physical Education Center. - JR - |
