Wed, May 22, 2013 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Schultz Named NCHA Player Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, February 7, 2006 MENOMONIE - UW-Eau Claire women's hockey forward Amanda Schultz (Sr. -Stevens Point/SPASH) has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Women's Hockey Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Layne Pitt. Schultz scored a hat-trick in a 7-0 win over St. Catherine and added the Blugolds' only goal in a 5-1 loss at UW-River Falls. Schultz accounted for four of the Blugolds' eight goals in two games over the weekend. On senior night Schultz recorded her fourth career hat trick in the win over St. Catherine. Schultz recorded goals at 3:50 and 19:02 of the first period and 19:02 of the second period to preserve the victory. In the loss at River Falls Schultz recorded the Blugolds' only goal of the game at 7:11 of the first period to tie the game at 1-1 before the Falcons scored four unanswered goals. |
