- Spent two years as a tennis pro in Salt Lake City (1994, 1995)
- Blugold assistant men's tennis coach (1993, 1994, 2000)
- Aassistant coach at Eau Claire Memorial (boys tennis program, 1990; girls tennis program, 1991-93)
- Instructor for Eau Claire Parks & Recreation program in 1985 and 1986

- Earned Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in business administration from UWEC in 1993
- Blugold men's tennis player - lettered in 1990-91 and 1991-92
- Received Master of Science in Education degree from UW-Stout in December, 2000

- CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin
- Has served as CEO since fall 2004
- Responsible for overall management of the not-for-profit organization and its $600,000 budget
- Northwestern Wisconsin area includes five counties stretching from Eau Claire to Hudson
- Has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2000
