Brooke Wozniak-Schmidt, Middle Hitter, Sr., Stanley (Stanley-Boyd)
Wozniak-Schmidt had a huge impact on the Blugolds 3-1 victory over WIAC powerhouse and fifth-ranked River Falls. The All-WIAC First Team member totaled 13 kills but more importantly shut down the powerful River Falls offense with her blocking ability at the net. Wozniak-Schmidt totaled 9 block assists in just four games and in the process tied herself with Dana Peterson for the all-time Eau Claire blocking assist record of 253. Her combination of offense and defense led the Blugolds to the victory, which was the 700th victory for head coach Lisa Herb. The Falcons came into the match ranked fifth in the country in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.
