Snell helped the Blugolds to two wins this weekend, beating UW-La Crosse 3-1 Friday and UW-Platteville 3-2 Saturday, allowing the Blugolds to tie for second place in the WIAC. Friday against the Eagles, she led the match with 17 kills, a career-high. Snell had 14 kills Saturday against the Pioneers. For the week, she also had 11 block assists.

Anne Satterlee, Rightside Hitter, 5-10, Senior, Green Bay, Wis./Ashwaubenon
Playing in four out of five matches this week, Satterlee helped the Blugolds to two wins in the matches she played while the team went 3-2. Competing in three matches at the Elmhurst College Tournament over the weekend, Satterlee led the Blugolds in kills each time. Friday against Millikin University (Ill.), a match the Blugolds won 3-1, she finished with a career-high 23 kills. Saturday, although the Blugolds dropped two matches to nationally-ranked opponents, Satterlee led Eau Claire with 17 kills against ninth-ranked University of Chicago and 10 against 10th-ranked Elmhurst College (Ill.). Wednesday in a match against UW-River Falls, which the Blugolds beat 3-0, she finished with nine kills, tying for second most on the team. For the week Satterlee accumulated 59 kills, 35 digs, 11 set assists, eight block assists and four service aces.

Kelly Schuh, Outside Hitter, 5-10, Junior, Appleton, Wis./Hortonville
In one match this week, Schuh helped the Blugolds to a 3-0 victory over UW-Superior, the team's fourth straight win. Schuh led the match with 15 kills, tying her career-high, while she hit .407. She also recorded nine digs.

Emily Neave, Setter, 5-7, Senior, Salem, Wis./Westosha Central
Competing in two of the Blugolds' three matches this week, Neave led the team in setting twice as the Blugolds went 3-0. In a 3-0 victory over UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, Neave had 37 set assists after finishing with 45 against the College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) on Wednesday, a match the Blugolds won 3-1. Against the Saints, she also led the match with 18 digs. For the week, Neave compiled 82 set assists, 25 digs, four service aces, four block assists and four kills.

Anne Satterlee, Rightside Hitter, 5-10, Senior, Green Bay, Wis./Ashwaubenon
In six matches this week, Satterlee recorded a total of 69 kills, 14 set assists, 29 digs and 20 total blocks as the Blugolds went 4-2. She finished in double digits in kills in five out of the six matches, leading the Blugolds in kills Saturday against St. Norbert College with 10. Satterlee hit .253 for the week, including a .700 performance against UW-Superior on Saturday. With the Blugolds going 3-1 at the St. Norbert College Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Satterlee was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Amy Bomgren, Outside Hitter, 6-0, Senior, Woodbury, Minn.
In three home conference matches this week, Bomgren and the Blugolds went 1-2, defeating UW-Stout on Wednesday 3-0 while falling in close matches to nationally-ranked UW-Stevens Point and UW-Whitewater 3-2 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. In Saturday's match against the Warhawks Bomgren led both teams with 25 kills, a career-high, while reaching double figures in kills the other two matches. For the week, she hit .242 with 49 kills and had five service aces, 29 digs and five total blocks.

Lauren Sutherland, Libero, 5-10, Junior, Dayton, Minn./Meadow Creek Christian
Sutherland helped the Blugolds to a 3-1 record this weekend at the Cornell College Classic. Playing in 16 sets during the two-day event, Sutherland led the Blugolds in digs in all four matches, compiling a total of 78. She also had four service aces and four set assists along with one kill. Saturday against Bethel University (Minn.), Sutherland recorded 27 digs, the fourth highest single match total she has reached in her career with Eau Claire.

Emily Neave, Setter, 5-7, Senior, Salem, Wis./Westosha Central
Competing in 17 sets and five matches this week, Neave led the Blugolds in setting with 179 assists. She also finished the week with 33 digs, nine block assists, seven kills and three service aces. Over the weekend at the Augsburg College Invitational, where the Blugolds went 2-2, Neave recorded 164 of her set assists, finishing with match-high marks three out of four times. For her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament Team following the invite.

Amy Bomgren, Outside Hitter, 6-0, Senior, Woodbury, Minn.
Bomgren helped lead the Blugolds to a 3-1 record this weekend as they opened the season with the UW-Eau Claire Labor Day Classic. She finished with 58 kills in four matches to lead the team and was named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the event. Bomgren also had 40 digs, third most on the team, and seven blocks, fourth most on the team, as she competed in 14 out of 15 sets over the course of the weekend. In the Blugolds' match against Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) on Friday, Bomgren finished with a match-high 24 kills, just five short of a school record.
