Swimming: WoNicole Dorvinen, Freshman, Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port
Dorvinen won two races for the Blugolds as the team defeated Whitewater 138-89. In the 1,000-yard freestyle, Dorvinen finished first with a time of 10:49.76, almost 20 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. She also finished more than five seconds ahead of the rest of the field in the 500-yard freestyle as she took first in a time of 5:19.31.

This weekend Eau Claire took fifth place with 572 points out of eight teams at UW-Stevens Point's Get to the Point Invite. She won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.49 and also took second in the 400-yard individual medley with a season-best time of 4:43.68. Dorvinen also took sixth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:16.03.

Swimming: Bakula, Sophomore, Appleton, Wis.
Bakula took first in two events on Saturday as the Blugolds came up short 134-101 against UW-La Crosse. In the 1,000-yard freestyle, Bakula finished in 10:56.99, more than two seconds ahead of the rest of the field. She also won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:21.94.

Swimming: Nicole Dorvinen, Freshman, Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port
Dorvinen won the 200-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 2:12.71 as she helped the Blugolds to a second place finish out of 10 teams at the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite at the University of Minnesota this weekend. She also finished fifth in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:16.90 and the 400-yard IM in 4:49.30, both season best times.

Swimming: Angie Bakula, 5-9, Sophomore, Appleton, Wis./West
This weekend Bakula won two events as the Blugolds defeated UW-Oshkosh 136-83. Bakula took the top spot in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:40.29 and followed that with a first place finish in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:23.86.

Swimming: Angie Bakula, 5-9, Sophomore, Appleton, Wis./West
For the second week in a row, Bakula won the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyle. She completed the 500 with a time of 5:20.27 and the 1,000 in 11:06.98, more than five seconds faster than the next swimmer.

Bakula won two events this weekend at the Blugolds' season opening meet against Division II Minnesota State University-Mankato. In the 500-yard freestyle she swam to a time of 5:26.59, while she took the top spot in the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:06.72.
