Loney led the Blugolds to a third place finish out of 20 teams at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling last weekend as she tied for first place individually out of 119 golfers. Loney shot a 74 in the first day of the event and made six birdies in day two to climb back to first place. She birdied two of the last four holes, including the 18th, to finish in the first place tie.

Loney led the Blugolds to the WIAC title as the Blugolds claimed first place at the WIAC Championships last weekend in Stevens Point. She became the fourth Blugold in school history to take first place individually at the event and the second in the last two years. Loney shot rounds of 84 and 76 to finish with a 160 for the event, two strokes better than the runner up.

September 27, 2004-October 3, 2004

Loney led the Blugolds to a first place finish at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational this weekend as she took first place individually at the event. The junior Blugold shot rounds of 75 and 85 to win by three strokes with a 159. Eau Claire finished with a collective 675 for the win, 32 strokes better than the next WIAC school.

Loney had two, top-three finishes this week, claiming second place at the Fighting Scot Invitational hosted by Monmouth and third at the Knox Invitational. She led the Blugolds at both events. The junior Blugold shot a three-over 78 at the Fighting Scot Invitational for second place, two shots back of the individual champion.

August 30, 2004-September 5, 2004

Loney claimed the individual championship at this weekends UWEC Invitational. She shot a day one 75 and a day two 80 for a 155, four shots better than second place. Loney led after both days of the event and helped the Blugolds to a third place finish out of 14 teams at the home invitational.
