Griepentrog was the top collegiate finisher at the UW-Eau Claire Lake Wissota Invitational on Friday, finishing second overall with a 5K time of 19:06.

Madi Sawyer, Junior, Champlin, Minn./Park
Sawyer ran a very smart race at the Brooks Invitational hosted by UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, moving up throughout the entire 6K competition. Sawyer finished 11th of 500 runners and was the Blugolds' second finisher. She helped the team to a third place finish out of 37 teams in a field that included seven nationally ranked teams.

Williamson finished third overall and helped the Blugold women win the Saint Mary's No Limit Invitational on Friday in Winona, Minn. Williamson covered the challenging 6,000-meter course in a time of 24:34.9.

Ashlyn Mauer, Senior, Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
Mauer finished first out of 266 runners and helped lead the UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team to a second place overall finish out of 17 teams, behind Division I University of Minnesota, at the 2012 Blugold Invitational on Friday at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax. Mauer finished the 6,000-meter course in a time of 21:43, a lifetime personal record. She finished more than five seconds ahead of the second place finisher, who was from the University of Minnesota, and more than 10 seconds ahead of the other competitors from Division III.
