Drake was the top Blugold and WIAC finisher at the Lake Wissota Invitational on Friday at Lake Wissota State Park. Drake led Eau Claire to a first place finish of six teams by covering the 5,000-meter course in a time of 18:51, which placed her fourth of 94 runners.

Elly Prunty, Senior, Antigo, Wis.
Prunty set a personal-record this weekend, beating her old record by 31 seconds as she placed fourth of 450 runners in a 6,000-meter time of 21:38 at the Tori Neubauer Invitational. Prunty led the Blugolds to a fifth place finish out of 27 teams.

Prunty helped lead the Blugolds to a second place finish out of 16 teams behind the University of Minnesota at the Blugold Open on Friday at Whitetail Golf Course. Prunty finished fifth of 313 runners with a time of 22:18 on the 6K-course and wasthe second WIAC finisher behind her teammate Alyssa Sybilrud.

Alyssa Sybilrud, Junior, Savage, Minn./Burnsville
Sybilrud became the first Blugold ever to win an individual title at the University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday. She outpaced the field of 447 runners over the 6K-course with a winning time of 22:05, which was 11 seconds faster than her nearest competitor. Sybilrud helped lead UW-Eau Claire to finish in second of place out of 30 teams.

Rindy led the Blugolds to a fourth place finish out of 10 teams at Luther College on Saturday. She covered the 5K course in a time of 19:40 and placed 15th overall.
