2008 Cross Country Athletes of the Week

October 20, 2008-October 26, 2008

Kacey Rindy, Freshman, Fennimore, Wis.
Rindy paced the Blugolds this weekend, taking 10th place out of 69 runners at this weekend's Lake Wissota Invite. She ran the 5K course in a time of 19:14.

October 13, 2008-October 19, 2008

Mary Palmer, Senior, Anoka, Minn.
This weekend at the Tori Neubauer Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse, Palmer led the Blugolds with a seventh place finish in a time of 22:02 as the Blugolds tied for fourth place out of 25 teams.

September 29, 2008-October 5, 2008

Alyssa Sybilrud, Freshman, Burnsville, Minn.
In the Blugolds' 3rd place finish out of 16 teams at the Blugold Open on Friday, Alyssa Sybilrud took 11th place overall with a time of 23:15 and finished the race ahead of the rest of the runners from the WIAC.

September 22, 2008-September 28, 2008

Mary Palmer, Senior, Anoka, Minn.
The Blugolds captured first place out of 36 teams this weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota. At the meet, Palmer led the Blugolds with a seventh place finish overall with a time of 22:52.

September 8, 2008-September 14, 2008

Mary Palmer, Senior, Anoka, Minn.
Palmer led the Blugolds to a first place finish out of 10 teams at the UW-Whitewater Invitational this Saturday. Palmer placed second overall and was the top WIAC finisher, as All-American runner Jenny Scherer of St. Norbert took the top spot. Palmer finished with a time of 24:15.
