2001-02 Basketball Athletes of the Week

December 31, 2001-January 6, 2002

Kristi Channing, Sr., Fall Creek
Helped lift the Blugolds over conference opponent UW-Superior and non-conference rival St. Scholastica this week and kept the Blugold record unblemished at 9-0. Channing scored a team-high 14 points in a 93-39 rout of the Yellowjackets. She played solid on the defensive end by totaling two steals and two blocks in the game as well as dishing out two assists. She came up big on the glass grabbing 10 rebounds in the game as well.
