Competing three times this weekend, Marco finished 2-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles as the Blugolds went 2-1 against other UW opponents. Facing UW-La Crosse on Friday, he won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles and 8-6 at No. 3 doubles with partner Kyle Hoffmann. Against UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, he won 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and 8-3 at No. 3 doubles. For the season, he is 12-10 in singles and 17-3 with Hoffmann in doubles.

Ryan Vande Linde, Junior, Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial
Vande Linde won two No. 1 singles matches while he and partner Joe Meier won one out of two No. 1 doubles matches this weekend as the Blugolds wrapped up the home portion of their schedule. Friday against the College of St. Scholastica (Minn.), which the Blugolds defeated 8-1, he won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. With the Blugolds also beating Bethel University (Minn.) 8-1 Sunday, Vande Linde won 6-0, 6-3 in singles play. He is now 10-9 in singles and 12-7 in doubles on the season.

David Stingley, Senior, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park
Stingley was undefeated this weekend, winning two doubles and two singles matches as the Blugolds opened their home portion of the 2013 season. Against the University of Dubuque, which the Blugolds beat 9-0, Stingley won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles while he and partner Brayden Parman won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles. Ending the weekend against Northwestern College (Minn.) he won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 singles and won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles with Parman. The Blugolds defeated the Eagles 8-1.

Michael Roden, Sophomore, Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial
Roden was undefeated last week as the Blugolds competed on Spring Break. Roden played in four singles and four doubles matches, March 18-21. At No. 3 singles, he went 4-0 and lost just eight total games as he won all four in straight sets. Playing at No. 2 doubles, he partnered with David Stingley and the pair also went 4-0. As a team, the Blugolds finished Spring Break with a 4-1 record.

Vande Linde went undefeated this weekend playing two No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches as the Blugolds won 9-0 against both opponents. Against St. Ambrose on Friday, he won 6-0, 6-4 in singles play while he and partner Joe Meier won 8-4 in doubles competition. Saturday facing Loras College, he won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while he and his partner Meier picked up an 8-1 doubles win.

Playing in two singles and two doubles matches this weekend, Meier went 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles. Friday he won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles while he and partner Ryan Vande Linde won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, helping the Blugolds to a 7-2 win over St. Norbert College. Saturday while the Blugolds fell just short, 5-4, to Lawrence University, Meier again won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles but he and Vande Linde dropped their No. 1 doubles match 9-8 (7-4).

Kyle Hoffmann, Freshman, Franklin, Wis.
Hoffmann was undefeated in doubles competition this weekend as the Blugolds split wins in Minnesota. Friday against MSOE, he and No. 3 doubles partner Florent Marco won 8-0 as the team won 9-0 while the pair won 8-5 Saturday against Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) for the Blugolds' only win.

Brayden Parman, Junior, Beaver Dam, Wis.
Parman went undefeated in two No. 5 singles match this weekend in Sartell, Minn. Against Michigan Tech, he won 6-7, 6-1, 10-3 and followed with a 6-2, 6-4 win over St. Cloud State, Minn. As a team, the Blugolds split wins, falling to Michigan Tech 6-3 and beating St. Cloud 8-1.

Vande Linde went 1-3 this weekend in two competitions as the Blugolds opened the spring season Saturday. While he fell at No. 1 singles and doubles to Coe College (Iowa) to start the day, he bounced back against Principia College (Ill.) as he and partner Joe Meier won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. He also played a close No. 1 singles match but came up just short 4-6, 6-0, 10-8.

Singles: Brayden Parman, Junior, Beaver Dam, Wis.
Competing at the 2012 Midwest Open Championships in St. Peter, Minn. this weekend, Parman finished with a 3-1 record as he advanced to the fourth round. He won three straight matches but narrowly fell in the fourth round. Parman won with scores of 6-4, 6-1 in the first round, 6-2, 6-0 in the second and 6-1, 6-1 in the third. In the fourth round, he won the first set 6-3, but then fell 7-6, 6-3.

Marco and Katz advanced to the second round of the 2012 USTA/ITA Regional Doubles Championships in St. Peter, Minn. this weekend. The pair won its first match 9-7 but then fell 8-2 in the second round.
