Chris Slagle, Jr., St. Paul, MN (Cretin-Derham Hall)
Slagle finished fourth in singles competition in No. 3 singles at the NCTA Tournament hosted by UW-La Crosse. Slagle defeated Andrew Christianson of UM-Morris 6-0, 3-1 (default) before falling to Jeff Hagman of UW-Oshkosh 2-6, 6-3 (7-10) in semifinal play. Head coach Tom Gillman cited that Slagle was consistently competitive in every round of singles play and his performance greatly improved throughout the course of the week.

Matt Widder, Sr., Sheboygan Falls, WI
Widder went a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 singles at the WIAC Duals all in straight sets. Widder defeated Jordan Shilts of Whitewater 6-4, 6-3 on day one of the duals before notching victories over Todd Miller of Oshkosh 7-5, 6-1 and Eric Krohn of La Crosse 6-2, 6-4 on Saturday. Widder also recorded one doubles victory with partner Adam Arians-a 8-5 win over Shilts and Eric Berryman of Whitewater.

Baga went 3-1 this weekend as Eau Claire defeated St. Olaf and fell to Carleton. Against the Oles, Baga won in the No. 6 singles in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 and won in the No. 3 doubles 8-3. Against Carleton, Baga won again in the No. 6 singles 7-6, 6-1.

Peterson finished the weekend with a win and a loss against Hamline and Luther. He demonstrated improvement throughout the weekend, according to men's tennis coach Tom Gillman.

Aaron Nordenskjold, Fr., Red Wing, MN
Nordenskjold played well all day on Friday as the Blugolds traveled to St. Could, Minnesota for dual meets with St. Cloud State and Augustana. He won convincingly over Augustana's Jeff Mootz, winning 6-3, 6-2 and lost a three-set battle to St. Cloud State.
