Track (Relay): 4x400-Meter Relay Team - Jacob Dennis-Oehling, Sophomore, Whitewater, Wis.; Cody Prince, Freshman, Appleton, Wis./North; Marty Richardson, Senior, Appleton, Wis./Kimberly; Thurgood Dennis, Freshman, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
This weekend at the Drake Relays, the Blugolds' 4x400-meter relay team of Jacob Dennis-Oehling, Cody Prince, Marty Richardson and Thurgood Dennis took first with a time of 3:10.75. The mark was the best time so far this season in the nation and was just short of a school record.

Track: Thurgood Dennis, Freshman, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
Dennis was part of two event victories as the Blugolds finished in third place at UW-La Crosse's Phil Esten Challenge on Friday. He took first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.42 seconds and was part of the winning 4x400-meter relay team that won with a time of 3:15.70, more than four seconds ahead of the rest of the field.

As the Blugolds took third place at UW-La Crosse's Phil Esten Challenge on Friday, Genovese won the discus throw. He finished with a mark of 51.23 meters (168-01). Genovese was also fifth in the hammer throw and 13th in the shot put.

April 9, 2012-April 15, 2012

Track: Thurgood Dennis, Freshman, Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame
Competing in three events this weekend at the UW-Platteville Invitational, where the Blugolds took fourth place out of 11 teams, Dennis won one event while taking second and third in two others. He took the top spot in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.67 seconds and was second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.70, three-hundredths of a second behind the first place finisher. Dennis was also part of the 4x100-meter relay team that took third with a time of 42.15 seconds.

Dennis took the top spot in the 400-meter dash at Friday's Wartburg Select in Waverly, Iowa where the Blugolds finished in second place. He won the race with a time of 48.34 seconds.

Field: Tony Sigrist, Senior, Byron, Minn.
Sigrist won the hammer throw at Friday's Wartburg Select in Waverly, Iowa where the Blugolds finished in second place. He won the event with a distance of 58.32 meters (191-4), setting a new school record. The previous school record was 57.12 meters (187-5), set by Dan Schmidt on May 30, 1992. The toss allowed Schmidt to finish in fifth place at nationals in 1992.
