Track: Brent Kann, Junior, Rice Lake, Wis.
With a time of 4:04.40, Kann finished second in the 1,500-meter run Saturday at the Loras College Open. His time was the 17th best in the conference so far this season.
Field: Grant Haugan, Junior, Green Bay, Wis./Ashwaubenon
Haugan won the long jump competition with a distance of 6.59 meters (21-7 1/2), the ninth longest throw in the conference this year, on Saturday at the Loras College Open.

Track: Chris Kupfer, Senior, Germantown, Wis.
Competing at the Phil Esten Challenge on Friday, Kupfer was part of two first-place finishes as the Blugolds went on to take second out of seven teams. In the 400-meter dash, Kupfer finished with a time of 49.67 to win the race while he anchored the Blugold relay team that won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:21.79. His time in the 400-meter dash was the fourth best time in the conference this season.
Field: Dan Powers, Junior, New Richmond, Wis.
Powers took home first place in the long jump competition and second in the triple jump as the Blugolds took second out of seven teams at the Phil Esten Challenge on Friday. In the long jump, Powers claimed the top spot with a leap of 6.46 meters (21-2 1/2), the 11th longest distance in the conference this season. He also finished with a distance of 13.30 meters (43-7 3/4) to take second place in the triple jump.

Track: Chris Wirtz, Junior, Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest
Wirtz took fourth place in the 5,000-meter run this weekend at the UW-Platteville Open with a time of 14:49.07.
Field: Sam Johnson, Senior, Deer Park, Wis./Amery
At the UW-Platteville Open last Friday, Johnson won the hammer throw competition with a toss of 54.78 meters (179-09). He finished more than three feet ahead of the rest of the field.

Track: Chris Wirtz, Junior, Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest
With the Blugolds winning the UW-Oshkosh Invitational this weekend, Wirtz finished in the top spot in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:30.82.
Field: Logan Koerten, Sophomore, Plover, Wis./SPASH
Koerten had two first place finishes for the Blugolds, winning the long jump competition with a distance of 6.66 meters (21-10 1/4) while also taking first in the javelin throw with a distance of 46.87 meters (153-09) as the Blugolds won the UW-Oshkosh Invitational.

Track: Justin Janke, Junior, Black River Falls, Wis.
This weekend at the UW-Stevens Point Eastbay Invitational, Janke finished third in the 55-meter dash with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 6.46 as the Blugolds took second place out of 10 teams.
Field: Logan Koerten, Sophomore, Plover, Wis./SPASH
As the Blugolds finished second out of 10 teams at UW-Stevens Point's Eastbay Invitational, Koerten took second in the long jump with a distance of 6.76 meters (22-2 ').

Track: Justin White, Junior, Arcadia, Wis.
This weekend at UW-Platteville's Open, White finished in second place in the 400-meter race with a time of 50.68 seconds, less than three-tenths of a second behind the first place finisher.
Field: Sam Johnson, Senior, Deer Park, Wis./Amery
Johnson, who has the longest throw in the weight throw in the nation this year, once again had a great throw for the Blugolds. His distance of 18.57 meters (60-11 ') was more than four feet ahead of the second place finisher at UW-Platteville's meet this weekend.

As the Blugolds finished the Eastbay Invite, hosted by UW-Stevens Point, in second place out of 15 teams with 131.50 points, Wirtz took first place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:52.97. The mark is a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time.

Johnson won the weight throw as the Blugolds took second place out of 15 teams with 131.50 points at UW-Stevens Point's Eastbay Invite Saturday. Johnson broke a school and facility record with a distance of 19.31 meters, improving on his national-leading distance.

Track: Rob Wilcox, Senior, Green Bay, Wis./Southwest
This week Wilcox competed in UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Open and won with a time of 1:24.54 in the 600-meter run.
Field: Sam Johnson, Senior, Deer Park, Wis./Amery
Johnson competed in both the shot put and weight throw at this weekend's Warren Bowlus Open in Menomonie. Johnson finished with a distance of 18.33 meters (60-1 '), just short of his national-leading mark, to take second place in the weight throw. He also took sixth in the shot put with a distance of 14.22 meters (46-8).

Track: Justin White, Junior, Arcadia, Wis.
White ran in two races this weekend at UW-Stevens Point's Triangular meet, where the Blugolds took second place out of three teams. White took the top spot in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.54, finishing more than a half-second ahead of the rest of the field. He also ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay race, which the Blugolds finished first in with a time of 3:24.07.

Johnson finished first this weekend in the weight throw with the longest throw in NCAA Division III this season to help the Blugolds to a second place finish at UW-Stevens Point's Triangular. He threw 18.34 meters, a nationally qualifying distance. He also took third place in the shot put with a throw of 15.72 meters.

With the Blugolds taking first in their season and home-opener on Friday, Kann came away with a second place finish in the 1-mile run with a provisional qualifying time of 4:14.79.

The Blugolds took first place in their season opening meet, the Blugold Open, and Johnson helped the team with two first place finishes. In the weight throw, Johnson tossed the weight to a provisional qualifying distance of 18.04 meters (59-2). He also took the top spot in the shot put with a distance of 14.95 meters (49-0 ').
